Recently, the website Expatistan updated its data on food prices in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, giving us an updated view of the cost of living in these countries.

Let’s start by examining the prices of some everyday food items across these nations. A 500-gram pack of boneless chicken breast is priced the lowest in Pakistan at 130 rupees, while it costs the highest in Sri Lanka at 254 rupees. Interestingly, a liter of whole-fat milk is the cheapest in India at 73 rupees, while it is the most expensive in Sri Lanka at 132 rupees. Moreover, a kilogram of potatoes is priced the lowest in Bangladesh at 34 takas, while it is the highest in Sri Lanka at 85 rupees.
